Spicy Bacon Cheddar Corn Bread

1 Box Plentiful Pantry Corn Bread Mix (Available at Spoons 'N Spice)
1 Pkg Deseret Gardens Jalapeno Vegetable Dip Mix (Available at Spoons 'N Spice)
1 C Water, warm
1 C Sharp Cheddar Cheese, coarse grated
1/2-1 C bacon, cooked and crumbled
Spray non-stick spray in a 8" x 8" cake pan.
In a medium bowl, add water and 1 1/2 tsp Jalapeno Vegetable Dip mix, (add more of spice mix if you want bread to be more spicy.) Stir and let sit for five minutes to soften herbs and spices.
Add Corn Bread Mix, bacon, and 2/3 C grated cheese to water mixture. Stir just until combined. Do not over mix or bread will not rise well. Spread evenly in pan and top with remaining cheese.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until center of bread is firm to the touch.
Remove from oven and cool five minutes before cutting. Serve with butter and enjoy.
